Tissue Sampling Tags

Use Allflex Tissue Sampling Tags to help eradicate Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) from your herd.

Tissue Sampling Tags are officially approved tags which can be used as Primary or Secondary Identifiers.

The tags allow you to take a sample of tissue, to be sent for testing, as part of the normal tagging process.

The sample is tested in a laboratory to determine the BVD status of the individual animal.

BVD Free animals can be recorded on the national database whilst infected animals can be identified for culling.
